Manifest Like You Don't Want It!

As with most people, manifesting what I want in life is quite often front and center in my mind, emotions, life. I've worked with my guides, I've read many books, I've taken seminars; just about anything, I've tried it. So here I am, where I am today.


As I look back over a number of years I can see where so much of what I've wanted to manifest is here. Now, sometimes not in the volume I'd like, sometimes it comes in at the last minute or very randomly. But when I consider my life as a whole I find I truly have manifested what I need. In addition there are many things I've manifested that I never specified, yet it's had a hugely stabilizing affect on my life.


I've had discussions with three people recently about manifesting and here are some of the thoughts that came through those discussions, perspectives of my friends and myself.


1) Once you have manifested something the first time, it's easier to do it again. Case in point for this is about private channels I have in a week. I want to average 3-4 a week and I do! Sometimes people call me at the last minute, sometimes I get lots of calls all at the same time, but when I look back over a month it averages out to be 3-4 a week, many times even more. I have had several discussions with my group (of angels and guides) and myself about this. I've put out to the universe my intention then some weeks I have 1 or nothing going on. I find that something else is actually happening in my life that week and it frees me up to do that. Then the next week I double up.


So in regards to this for me, I know I can ALWAYS manifest private channels. As I consider this today I find that it's easier to manifest because I trust that it will just happen. I have the experience of the last several years to 'prove' it. I have the belief in my ability in this regard so I am very relaxed about it so as to alleviate the pressure of what has as yet not happened. It's easier for me to move into allowing this to unfold.


2) It's all about the alignment. You have heard this from just about everyone; the Goddess has said it, I've said it, Abraham-Hicks, etc. So if this is a very common thread, there must be something to it! When I'm channeling, be it in the teleconference or a private channel, I am able to see energy. I can see when someone is seeking to have something in their life and I can see where that desire is in relationship to that person. There are many reasons why there is a difference between the vibration of what you want and the vibration of where you are right now. Sometimes it's as simple as you're just out of whack today (or at least at the time I'm looking at the person). Other times I can see distinct blocks between the desire and the person. Still other times I do not see anything in between the person and what they seek to have. This is where I think the majority of us are.


3) What is resistance and why is it so aggravating? This is one of the aspects that I find most annoying! I believe that resistance is what keeps us from the vibrational alignment of what we are seeking to manifest. Again, here we are... resistance. What is that? If we want something in our lives we put it out to the universe that we want 'it'. We then immediately look forward to it falling into our lives. We may notice signs that make us think 'Is this it'? 'Is it almost here'? 'Can this be for real'? So we notice these things that are happening and suddenly we are going into control. What I mean is that we now try to make what we see happening, happen even faster or more efficiently. This may entail going certain places, calling certain people, signing up for things; whatever it may be. In all of this we are keeping ourselves connected to what we seek to have and we're trying to shape how it's going to come in so that we'll know it and so that it will be ours. We're now pushing. We're now using effort to 'make' it happen. Which is where the resistance comes in.


Would you like to know why I find resistance so aggravating? Because I don't think I have any!! For the most part. I also find it aggravating because if I have resistance I must doing something 'wrong'. Resistance comes to us in many different ways. It can be we make deliberate choices that take us away from what we desire. Now in our minds we may say that we are just 'choosing' to do it that way. Of course we are! But from another perspective this is resistance.


This is really very common for most people: when you want something really badly you tend to notice how much it's not there. It may seem as if every time you turn around there's a reflection of what you haven't gotten. It may seem you clear the energies, shift to what you DO want; yet nothing happens, so you realize you STILL don't have it. I think where we get caught up in this is that we clear the energies, focus on what we want, it doesn't come in very quickly we are back into what's NOT there again. It becomes a cycle of release and attach.


As I was saying, I didn't think I had resistance around this one particular manifestation of mine. Yet I'd get so mad if someone said I did. I was having a conversation with a friend and she was talking about what she'd done and I found myself going into this place of thinking what I didn't have. I'd not thought of it for awhile one way or another; but suddenly it was there in front of me, so I brought it up. She continued to talk about resistance. The more she said, the more frustrated I became. But remember? I don't have resistance!! Anytime you feel emotions other than joy, peace, love, excitement around what you seek to have; it's resistance.


4) Moving past resistance and into acceptance. One could say that acceptance is another form of release. Acceptance is a state of being. It's a state of allowing. Where I think so many people get caught up is that they believe that if they accept where they are right now--without what it is they want-- then they no longer want their manifestation. This is not true. There is no doubt in your mind that you want.. what you want!


In moving into acceptance it's essential to be very clear of your final outcome. You've put forth what it is you seek to have. But here you are right now, wherever that may be. This is where people begin the process of focusing on what ever it is that is lacking. So to transition that, begin to focus on what it is you like. Begin to focus on the little things. I think another step that most of us do which creates resistance is go directly for 'the big one'. The one that may feel huge or too overwhelming, but it still just what we want. As you begin to look at the little things that you are able to manifest, you will find that before you know it, the bigger ones are closer than you realize.


I tend to be chronically late. Not terribly late but perhaps 10 -15 minutes. Why is this? I have no idea, I just know it happens. In addition to my channeling I work as an RN for an out patient radiology center. This got to be such an issue I was talked to in the office, they even changed my schedule 'since I couldn't get there on time'. This I disliked because I didn't want to leave late at the end of the day! This all came about during the time in my studies where I was thinking of 'shifting or bending time'. (hmmm, manifested it?) Anyway, I LOVE this! Suddenly I'd be driving to work in the morning and if I was running a few minutes late, I'd shift time so as to arrive on time! Now, I'd say this works about 98% of the time.


Here is how I began manifesting arriving to work on time. For this I'd reaffirm to the universe I need to be there by 7:37 (we have a 7 minute grace period). Now the universe knows this, but I'm still clear in what I seek. I then ask the universe to line up whatever needs to happen for this to be accomplished. I then release it. I take a deep breath in, breathe out, consciously letting go the energies. I then deliberately listen to something on the radio, my iPod, book on tape, whatever it may be. Before I know it, I realize I'm almost at work and the timing is going great.


Now, several years later when I do this, I don't necessarily take every step because all I have to say is 'Oops, need to shift today'. Then breathe in and breathe out. What is happening to me? First of all, I know from past experience that this is going to work, it creates a level of trust. Secondly because it's small, not going to change the course of my life, it's easier to let go resistance. Thirdly by distracting myself with what I like, music, books, radio I'm able to focus on what I DO like as apposed to every red light or slow poke in front of me. I have now created a vibrational alignment with arriving at work on time.


Therefore with this I stated what I wanted to manifest; arriving at work on time. I made my intention very clear, as I did so I was acknowledging that in that moment, it looked like I was going to be late to work. I then released the specific outcome of how to accomplish the result by distracting myself with what I like to do while driving.


You see how it's much easier to accept where you are and to release and allow when it's something not so big? If you begin to let your focus be upon many many little things in your life that you are already manifesting; you will come to realize that you manifest WAY more abundantly than you realized.


5) Using compassion to assist in your daily life. I love compassion! It's something that is always there and it's something that people have a tendency to ignore. Why is it that humans are so darn hard on themselves? We live in a world that for many is very task oriented. You set goals and you work towards those goals. You have to be pro-active. You have to have a plan and yes manifesting what you want is all a part of that.


To me the greatest part of compassion is that it allows me to be gentle and loving towards myself. I sometimes get interesting responses from people when we talk about compassion. I think there are many who just aren't comfortable with allowing it into their lives. It makes them feel vulnerable. It makes them feel they are even letting themselves down in their goal oriented life.


I invite you to take a minute and consider who or what is your strongest ally? Your divinity. It's there for you your whole life. It will not go away for any reason until you release this physical life and return completely to your divinity. So if this is what is your strongest, most solid support system; open to use it! Remember that it is there. Compassion is one of the ways to allow this into your life. Compassion is without judgment. It doesn't matter what you've done. I doesn't matter what you are doing right now. If you shift your focus into compassion it's a means of allowing resistance, tiredness, heaviness to flow away from you. Compassion is a means of nurturing you. When you tap into compassion and allow it into your life-- it's a direct link to your divinity!


As I've mentioned resistance is something that can make me very frustrated; hence, it's resistance! (Perhaps my next post will be 'Resistance is not really a 4 letter word'!) Consciously opening your heart and allowing compassion to flow into it is a means of shifting your energy. You need not give compassion a job-- like release this, bring in that; you need only allow it to flow. Compassion will move through you and it soothes your energies. It allows you to let go the burdens you've been carrying.


For what I've seen with myself and the people I work with the number one burden is judgment. It's judgment that puts in our face 'I'm not good enough to manifest' or 'I've worked with this for years and it's still not happening' or 'That person has it, why can't I' or 'I must be doing something wrong because I have not accomplished what I seek'. Does any of that resonate with you? If so then I invite you to sit back for a moment, take a deep breath in and ask compassion to flow into you~~~~~ For some you may feel a shift, others may only feel the deep breath they took. I affirm that every time you do that, you are opening to compassion.


As you are moving through your life I invite you to embrace compassion as part of your daily life. I invite you to be very gentle with yourself right NOW with where you are right now. Remember that the vibrational alignment for manifesting is through joy, love and acceptance; no matter what you seek to manifest. Remember to go with the easy choices, let the big unfold! I send surges of compassion, love and light to you as you are creating your life! Perhaps now you can see why I say "Manifest like you don't want it"!!
